Alpha Phi Questions
What does Phi Phi Kappa Alpha mean to the Pike fraternity? The greek letters Phi Phi Kappa Alpha represent something to Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike). I am a rushee and was wondering what it meant. It is part of our I week, we have to find out what it means, but the actives will not tell us, and we must find out on our own. If anyone knows, please help me.

I need door dec ideas! Alpha Phi Omega? I'm in alpha phi omega,a co-ed community service fraternity, and I'm in charge of making door decs. I need suggestions for ideas... my co-chair suggested an eagle (one of our symbols)... but also we have a diamond (which would be easier), an oak tree, forget- me- not, and our colors are blue and gold... I don't know if that's private info.... I'd think not... but yea... I need ideas... even things maybe not relating to these symbols... just service in general would be ok...
Alpha Phi Sorority: AOE? Does anybody know what AOE stands for in the Alpha Phi sorority? i was told it means alethia orno etheran (spelling?) in greek. Anybody know what that means?

Are Alpha Phi Alpha the brother fraternity to Alpha Kappa Alpha? My best friend and I got into a dispute as to whether they are or not. It is to my understanding that the list goes as follows: AKA-KAY DST-Ques & ZPB-PBS(sorry dunno how to do greek symbols on comp) I assumed that SGRho, APA, & IPT were not paired with each other. Her argument was that their names are modeled after each other so they must be brother/sister. I told her I am not exactly sure as to why the names were modelled after each other, but that this is how dst formed, because they wanted to reform and change their name so that they may be unique from that frat. Also is this was the case then that would leave Ques & DST would not fit nor would ZPB & PBS.
What kind of gifts should we give to seniors in our co-ed service fraternity (Alpha Phi Omega)? Me and my co-chair are in charge of doing senior wills. At this gathering we will be giving gifts to the seniors. However this is a co-ed fraternity, so the gifts that we would normally give girls (types of memorabilia, such as picture frames, glasses, etc.) would more than likely not be appreciated by male members. What are some gifts that both would appreciate... or if that is too difficult... what are gifts that guys would like? I feel like the girls will be easy if we just have to give girls and guys different gifts... Also keep in mind that it'll have to be "clean" gifts, and can't have like references to things like alcohol or sex or drugs, we are a "dry" organization.
Alpha Kappa Alpha? Would it be okay if an Alpha Phi Alpha were to write my recommendation? Also is there any written material that I can read to learn more about Alpha Kappa Alpha?
